Hello there, it looks like you have found the official blog dedicated to the story series, The Extraordinary Others! Welcome, welcome! :D
So, since this is the Introduction, I guess I should explain what this series is. Okay, I'll start off with some possible questions newcomers might ask, and then I'll answer them. (Kind of like a FAQ thing.)
Q: Is Twinkle's Story the same thing as The Extraordinary Others?
A: Yes and no. The Extraordinary Others (TEO for short) is the name of the whole entire series. Twinkle's Story is the name of the first "book" in the series. At the moment, I'm still working on Twinkle's Story.
Q: Will The Extraordinary Others ever be published as an actual book series?
A: Unfortunately TEO can not be published as an actual book series. Even though the plots in Book 2 and on are not connected to Animal Jam in any way, the plot in Book 1 (Twinkle's Story) is clearly inspired by Animal Jam. I do not own Animal Jam, so if I publish this series (that contains some of their own ideas) then it will be copyright infringement. However if I change the ideas that relate to Animal Jam into my own ideas completely, then it could be published. So I guess you can call this series an Animal Jam fanfiction that only relates to Animal Jam in the first (and possibly second) book. And barely. Yeah... haha.
Q: Since this series was inspired by Jamaa Lore (part of Animal Jam), does that mean that this series is ideal for all ages (kid-friendly)?
A: Actually... no. This series contains some elements (is that the word?) that I don't suggest young children reading. As a warning, Twinkle's Story seems like a children's story at first, but let me tell you it is not for young children. I'm not that good at these age rating things, but if I were to put an age that is okay to read TEO series, it would be 12 years old and up.
Q: Why is it so bad for a young child to read this series?
A: I never said it's a horrible thing for a child to read this series. I just don't suggest it. Why? Well, because of the series as a whole. The series (not limited to Twinkle's Story) contains scenes of bloody violence, swear words (debating on it), ideologically sensitive material, and very, very, very slight hints of suggested sensual content. For example, sensitive topics such as depression, suicide, self-harm, murder, suggestions of going against a "god-like" figure, and possibly more are mentioned in the series (all mentioned in Twinkle's Story). If you are uncomfortable about reading stuff that mentions/suggests those things for any reason, then I suggest not reading this series. Throughout the series there are scenes that contain blood. For almost all scenes with blood, they are caused by violent events, such as being physically tortured. The other ones I can not elaborate on yet because they aren't revealed in anything posted yet.
